Eating halal in Ankara

In Ankara, meat is not the issue: as everywhere in Turkey, pork is nearly absent from the ordinary food chain and everyday restaurants are suitable. An administrative capital rather than a tourist city, Ankara mainly serves day-to-day Turkish cooking — kebab, pide, soups, lahmacun.
